Lisa Aschmann, Pam Belford, Paul Nielsen and Others to Take Stage at 'Tunesmithing' on Oct. 19

     NASHVILLE -- Five professional songwriting acts will take the stage on Oct. 19 (Saturday) at "Tunesmithing," a monthly songwriters show at WXYZ Restaurant/Bar at the Aloft Nashville West End Hotel, 1719 West End Ave. 

     Attendees will enjoy original songs and instrumentals by Lisa Aschmann, Pam Belford, Everette Brown, Sam Gyllenhaal, and Paul Nielsen. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Nashville composer-educator-publicist Chuck Whiting will emcee the show. Engineer-songwriter-performer AJ Bigler will handle sound. 


     "Our show is unique because we give performing songwriters the opportunity to perform solo sets of five songs each," said Whiting, who started the show 16 years ago. "It's a great way to support and reconnect with fellow songwriters at one of the city's most relaxing venues."

Tunesmithing Songwriters Show to Spotlight Five Professional Songwriters in Nashville on May 19

         NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 2018) -- Five professional songwriting acts will perform on May 19 (Saturday) at "Tunesmithing," a monthly songwriters show at WXYZ Restaurant/Bar at the Aloft Nashville West End Hotel, 1719 West End Ave. 

          Attendees will enjoy original songs and instrumentals by Meredith Blis, Warren Evans, Lisa Hannah, Antoinette Olesen, and Debbie Watts. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Nashville composer-educator-publicist Chuck Whiting will emcee the show. Songwriter/audio engineer AJ Bigler will handle sound.

'Tunesmithing' Songwriters Night to Return on Dec. 16 with Holiday Show

     Attendees will enjoy original and classic holiday songs, poems and/or stories by AJ Bigler, Sally Burgess, Kelley Cline, Wil Comstock, Valerie Connelly, Gordon Ellis, Suzahn Fiering, Dar Frantz, Mark Horwitz, Les Kerr, Michael Laidley, Candy Paull, Angel Pontier, and Chuck Whiting. 'Tunesmithing' to Celebrate Music in Film, Television and Theatre on Nov. 18

          NASHVILLE -- "Tunesmithing" will celebrate music in film, television and theatre with a show from 7-9:30 p.m. Nov. 18 (Wednesday) at WXYZ Restaurant/Bar at the Aloft Nashville Hotel, 1719 West End Ave. (near Music Row).

          Attendees will enjoy original songs and compositions by professional singer/songwriter Lisa Aschmann (hundreds of songs for movies and TV shows); professional singer/songwriter Everette Brown ("Summer Avenue"/PBS documentary series "Beyond the Parkway"); songwriter/composer/playwright Valerie Connelly ("Fearless, The Golden Love Musical"); songwriter/composer/instrumentalist Mark Horwitz (performed in the Broadway show "Beatlemania"); singer/songwriter/producer Bruce Michael Miller (four songs in the movie "Halloween Party"); and songwriter/composer/instrumentalist Bob Teague (guitarist for the four-piece instrumental group 'Quartessence').

     NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 2013) -- The monthly "Tunesmithing" songwriters showcase will spotlight seven professional and emerging songwriters from 8-10:30 p.m. Dec. 17 (Tuesday) at The Row Kitchen & Pub, 110 Lyle Ave. (near Music Row).

     Taking the stage for the "Professional Songwriters Segment" at 8 p.m. will be country/pop/Americana artist Amy Allen (the Top 15 country hit "Someday Is Today"), songwriter/singer/author Lisa Aschmann (cuts by Art Garfunkel, Diamond Rio and many others), and the country-pop singer/songwriter/actor M Callahan (lead role in "One Kiss Cafe" at the Country Music Hall of Fame).

'Tunesmithing' to Return on Oct. 15 with 'Kick-Off Show' at The Row Kitchen & Pub

            NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 2013) -- The monthly "Tunesmithing" songwriters showcase will return on Oct. 15 (Tuesday) to The Row Kitchen & Pub with a "kick-off show" starring Orleans co-founder Lance Hoppen, the hit Americana duo Nancy Moran & Fett, and internationally known World Music artist Laura Powers.

            "Tunesmithing", which is celebrating its 11th year, will occur the third Tuesday of each month with a hit/professional songwriters segment from 8-9:30 p.m., followed by an emerging songwriters segment from 9:30-10:30 p.m.  The Row Kitchen & Pub is located at 110 Lyle Ave. at the former site of Longhorn's (near Music Row).
